A drive that takes you along the picturesque plantations of oil palm, rubber, coconut, fruit orchards and rice fields. A typical village scene, with domestic breeds grazing. Kuala Selangor situated on the bank of the Selangor River, has rich history and it is well known for its fresh seafood.
Bukit Melawati offers panoramic view of the Selangor coast and the Klang valley. The Altingsburg Lighthouse, The Royal Mousleum, the ruined Fort, the legendary 100 steps (a fable execution block) children’s playground and a Quaint resthouse are among the fascinating attractions that awaits you. You may also stumble upon silver leafed monkeys.
We then proceed to Kampung Kuantan, an agricultural village well known for being one of the largest firefly colonies in the world. This nocturnal tour is extremely popular with boat rides. The synchronised flashing occurs every night as you glide down the river by boat with mangrove trees lining the banks. It’s on of the world’s most spectacular insect show.
